Claire Elizabeth Kelly (Boddy)

The family of Claire E. Kelly sadly announces her death on July 7, 2013 in Goose Creek, SC. Claire was a model wife, mother, Nana, Great Nana, and… model. Claire was born and raised in Detroit, MI and graduated from St. Gregory’s High School, worked for the USPS and contributed to the cause of WW II. After raising her family, Claire opened and ran a successful women’s clothing boutique, Claire Kelly Northville, in Northville, MI. After retiring to SC she continued to work in the retail business. She had a flare for fashion and a passion for all things beautiful. Claire was often heard saying she wanted to make the world a little prettier. Her family thinks she did! Claire was married to the love of her life, Clark Kelly, for an exciting 56 years. Up until his death in 2009 Clark and Claire were traveling, antiquing, or catching a Broadway show. Claire is survived by a daughter, Kimberly (Kelly) Pate, a son Shawn Kelly, son in law Donald and daughter in law Janet. She had six grand children and one great grandson.
