Dora Ann Haselden

April 6, 1925 — June 29, 2018

Dora Ann Haselden, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, SC and longtime resident of James Island and widow of Aaron J Haselden entered into eternal rest Friday, June 29, 2018. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 7, in the Rodenberg Chapel, Franke At Seaside, 1885 Rifle Range Rd., Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Dora was born April 6, 1925 in Greenwood, Louisiana, daughter of the late Adam Gros and Mercedes Domangue Gros. She retired from Wachovia Bank as Assistant VP of Operations. After retiring she enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, gardening, visiting with family and friends, traveling with her “Hon”, following her beloved Clemson football team on TV and radio. She also enjoyed her years as a volunteer at Roper Hospital where she donated thousands of hours.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her son Emory Haselden(Carol), granddaughter Marcie Haselden and great grandson Taylor Meurer. For the last seven years the community of Franke At Seaside provided her with warm support and friendships that she and her family appreciated and cherished.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Lutheran Foundation, 1885 Rifle Range Rd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
