Born on June 07, 1946 in Augusta, Georgia, Dorothy was a daughter of the late, William Dan Wilkins, Sr. and Catherine Wilkins.
Dorothy was a devoted military wife and accomplished race car driver while she was stationed in Bitburg, Germany with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her sons and their wives, William H. Fuehrer and Sherry H. Fuehrer. Thomas P. Fuehrer and Catherine S. Fuehrer. In addition she is survived by her Sisters Barbara Lassiter, and Audrey Johnson, and her brother William Dan Wilkins, Jr.
