Eddie Lamar Watson

Eddie Lamar Watson, 71, of Summerville, SC passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 27,2014. Mr. Watson was born in Leitchfield, KY on June 17, 1943. After graduating from High School in Louisville, KY, he proudly served as a Corporal in the Marine Corps with an honorable discharge August 1965. He worked as an electrician for Home Products and retired in 2003. Eddie was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed bowling, dancing, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Watson is survived by his daughter, Robin Storey, his three grandchildren, Alene and Isabel Storey and Paul William Schurman, III. He is also survived by his two brothers, Robert Watson and Dennis Watson, and one sister, Carolyn Holbert. Fondly, Eddie leaves his special friend, Brigitte Edwards, in his heart. A private memorial service will be held at 3PM in the Chapel at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, Friday, August 29, 2014. Burial will follow at a future date in his hometown of Louisville, KY at Memorial Gardens.
