Edith Gayle Litchfield

Edith “Gayle” Litchfield of Huger entered into eternal rest on September 21, 2014 in her home surrounded by family and friends. Gayle was born August 9, 1951 in Lynchburg, SC to the late Cecil & Hazel Parnell McDaniel. Her family and friends remember Gayle as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A unique caring woman with a huge heart. Gayle is survived by her husband of 45 years Andrew Jackson Litchfield. Two daughters Shannon Love (Chris) and Jacqulin Harris (Joe). Six grandchildren Drew & Kyle Collins, Christopher & Heather Love, Paige & Abigayle Harris. Two sisters Ann Dudley (William) and Mary Winson. Two Godchildren Dionna Ebeling and Henry Randy Wirth, Jr. Many nieces, nephews and other Family members. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant. 681 McCants Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Contributions can be made to Transitions Hospice of Charleston or First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant.
