Ernest H Childs , 77, of N Charleston, SC passed away Monday November 18th.
Ernest was born January 25. 1942 to Margaretta Pringle Childs and St Julien Ravenel Childs in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Charleston High School and worked many years at Wholesale Electronics on East Bay Street. He loved and served the Boy Scouts and was a faithful member of the Church of the Resurrection in North Charleston. He was a long time Clerk in the Radio Industry.
There will be a service Friday, November 22nd at 4pm at the Church of the Resurrection located at 5101 N Rhett Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. A reception / gathering of friends will follow at Ernie's house in North Charleston.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmetto Cremation Society, 5638 N Rhett Ave, N Charleston, SC 29406
