Eugene Leon ''Geno'' Tisdale

Eugene'Geno' Leon Tisdale, 82 of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina died on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Hospice Center of Charleston. Born Tuesday, October 20, 1931 in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of the late John Tisdale and the late Celie Dupree Tisdale and the husband of the late Laura Mae Blanton Tisdale. Geno loved fishing in the Wando River with his sons and was the 'Fish Whisperer'. Surviving are daughters, Julia Wyatt and husband Blaine of Mount Pleasant, and Denise Hollingsworth and husband Paul of North Charleston; sons, Bubba Tisdale and wife Patty of Charleston and Rip Tisdale and wife Glen of Mount Pleasant; sister, Agnes Rae Kirkland of Ravenel; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. Tisdale is predeceased by, son, Rex Tisdale and brothers August Roy Tisdale and John Tisdale, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of your choice.
