Irene Ann Mary Berrigan

Mrs. Irene Ann Mary Rattray Berrigan of North Charleston, wife of the late William Robert Berrigan Sr., departed this life on Wednesday November 7, 2012. Irene was the original fashionista with a young spirit that touched the hearts of everyone who had the opportunity to meet her. Irene was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and good friend to all. Irene is survived by her daughter, Susan Moseley of Richmond Hill, GA and her son, John Malcolm Berrigan and his wife Tammy Berrigan, eight grandchildren, Mery Berrigan Germroth and her husband Tony Germroth, Jesse Berrigan, Jo Berrigan, Morgan Kyi Moseley, Hunter Moseley, Cole Berrigan, Riley Berrigan, and Kali Rae Berrigan, and also her three great grandchildren Jonathan Dustin Mitchell, Ana Berrigan Seldon, and Joshua Berrigan Seldon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Master Chief of the United States Navy and Retired Civil Service, William Robert Berrigan Sr. and her eldest son William Robert Berrigan Jr. A memorial will be held Saturday November 10 at 4:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 2501 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, SC 29414, 843-722-8371.
