James Berry Gardner - MT. PLEASANT – James Berry Gardner, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 5, 2016. He was born on July 3, 1949 in Louisville, KY to the late Albert Conley Gardner and Cleta Frances Gaunce Gardner. Jim was a manufacturer’s rep in the optical industry. He graduated from Western Kentucky University and was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He is survived by his wife, Camille Manning Voelker Gardner of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one sister, Londa Gardner Crenshaw (Paula White) (Louisville, KY); one brother, Ray Conley Gardner (Philadelphia, PA); one sister-in-law, Julia Ann Voelker Reilly (John D. Reilly) (Louisville, KY); one brother-in-law, Stanley G. Voelker, Jr. (Sharon B. Voelker) (Louisville, KY), along with numerous nieces and nephews and many great friends. A Memorial Service will be held in Louisville, KY at a later date. Jim will be terribly missed by all of us who loved and adored him.
