James Donald Taylor

James Donald Taylor, 70, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina died on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at Roper Hospital. Born Wednesday, March 8, 1944 in Waycross, Georgia, he was the only son of the late Alvin Taylor and the late Marie Estelle Murray Taylor of Blackshear, Georgia. He was the husband of Cheryl Taylor. Jim graduated from the University Of Georgia and retired from Wyeth Health Care after 37 years in pharmaceutical / medical sales. In retirement, he enjoyed being a tour guide with Bulldog Tours. Jim was a faithful member of Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to his loving wife, Cheryl, Jim is survived by stepdaughters, Sandra Mitchum and husband Leonard and Cynthia Reeves; grandchildren, Sasha Reeves, Amanda Mitchum, Lindsay Mitchum and Reese Mitchum all of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. A memorial service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 12:30 pm, a reception will follow.
