Janet Kenewell Fetzer

Janet Kenewell Fetzer, 83, of Summerville, wife of William “Bill" D. Fetzer, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family is very thankful for the loving care given by Vicky Stanton, Caregiver, and the Regency SouthernCare Hospice.
Jan was born on August 28, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Kenneth Kenewell and Jean Kenewell Clark. She met and married Bill on June 29, 1957 and from that day, they have been inseparable. Jan loved living on Seabrook Island and working on the Seabrook Island Sea Turtle Patrol. She graciously became the Co-Leader and took great comfort in protecting, preserving and the education of island residents and visitors. She loved the beach, finding shells and sipping a good Margarita!
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bill, and her three daughters, Dawn Schwab (Jay) of Mooresville NC, Cheryl Gwaltney (Bill) of Charleston, SC and Wendy Fetzer of Laurens, SC. She loved her Grandchildren ... Ryann, Courtney, Brandon, Logan and Will. She's also survived by her 7 Great Grandchildren.
