She was born on November 9, 1929 in Charleston, South Carolina to Wilson and Mamie (Nettles) Ilderton. Survivors include her husband Tommie S. Epting, Daughters: Donna Kellahan (Rick) and Paige Wilkins (Stewart), Grandchildren: Richard Kellahan, Katherine Anderson, Lanee Epting, Kristina Wilkins, Jeffrey Wilkins. Great Grandchildren: Kaylee Anderson, Thomas and Knox Kellahan, Brother: Thomas L. Ilderton.
She was preceded in death by her son: James F. Epting IV, siblings: Walter T. Ilderton, Florrie I. Carpenter, Katherine I. Stokes, Elizabeth I. Jennings, Orrie Mae I. Gurney, James W. Ilderton.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm. at Parks Cemetery, Highway 17A, Summerville, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Boulevard; Mount Pleasant, SC.
