John Stephen Wildes

John Stephen Wildes , 75, husband of Lela Mae Carroll Wildes, of Summerville, SC, died on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, surrounded by his family. Born July 3, 1937 in East Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Winslow Wildes and Hazel McGinley Wildes. He was a graduate of Boston College and most recently worked as a custodian. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 52 years; his sons, John Wildes, Jr, and David Wildes and wife Karen, his daughters, Lela Hamel and husband Bruce, Mary Frances Wildes and Carol Ann Wildes, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grand children; and his brother Winslow Wildes, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Palmetto Cremation Society, Friday, March 29, 2013 at 12:00pm.
