Karl Frederick Schwerzler age 59, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed peacefully Saturday night, September 18, 2021.
Born July 23, 1962, in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late William Schwerzler Sr. and Mildred Kirkland Schwerzler.Karl was a respected Chef/Manager, and friend for many years in the Charleston area. Being a graduate of Middleton High class of 1980, he took pride in being a local to the area. In his spare time, he enjoyed football, yard work, and just being with his friends and family.
Karl is survived by his son, Mason Schwerzler of Hanahan, SC; his sisters Marie Novotney, Crescens Roach and her husband Steve; his brothers Joe Schwerzler and his wife Judy, James Schwerzler, and Martin Schwerzler and his wife Ransom; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mildred, and his brother William (Bill) Schwerzler Jr.
