Kathleen McDowell Burke

Ms. Kathleen McDowell Burke, 67 of Charleston, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Hospice Center of Charleston in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Born Thursday, October 10, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Col. David McDowell and the late Constance Lewis McDowell. Ms. Burke worked for many years for Borden Dairy. Her true passion in life was showing dogs for the American Kennel Club. She loved all creatures, especially her little Mack. Ms. Burke was also a member of The Orchid Society. Surviving are daughter, Beverly Poston and husband Tim of Charleston, SC and grandchildren, Kaitlin Ashley and Craig Allen.
