Linda left this earth on May 24th, 2021 to be reunited with the love of her life, husband, Lt Col. Gaetano C. Ponti.
Linda was born April 4th 1945 in Jacksonville, FL to Arthur E. Skinner and Helen Edwards. She was raised in Waldoboro, ME.
Linda's passions were helping others and her family, specifically her grandchildren.
She was a friend of Bill W. and Dr Bob for 27 years.
Linda was predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband, Gaetano C. Ponti.
Surviving Linda are her brother, Billy Everly (Pat) of Winchester, VA. She is survived by two daughters from her first marriage to Lewis Trull; S. Marie Trull of Moncks Corner, SC and Melissa Trull-Ackerman of North Charleston, SC. Also surviving her is her son, Jason Ponti (Holly) of Milton, FL, two stepsons, Jim Ponti (Sarah) of Metairie, LA and Guy David Ponti (Lisa) of Tallahassee, FL., Grandchildren; Damion Hooper of Rockland, ME, Bryce Ponti of Tallahassee, FL, Mary and Mia Ponti of Metairie, LA, Taylor Ponti of Navarre, FL, and Adreanna Ponti of Milton, FL. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren of Rockland, ME., Kylie, Jayden, Deklin and Gavin.
There will be two Celebrations of Life for Linda, one in Charleston, SC and one in Milton, FL.
