Lorene B. Martin, of Cross, SC passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on May 12, 2017.
Lorene was born March 13, 1935 in Parish, AL to the late William Carl Brown and Pearl Wade Brown. Lorene's greatest unconditional love was to her husband of 49 years and her family. Lorene was a retired nurse and worked as an LPN for Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA and Carolina Coastal Center in Summerville, SC.
She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Martin of Cross, SC; son, Jack Allen Martin and wife Carolyn Martin of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Anna P. Gibson of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted. A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Wed., May 17, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church, Summerville, SC. Palmetto Cremation Society, Inc. is assisting the family in their time of need. -
