Martha Foster Douglas

Martha Foster Douglas, 94, died Wednesday evening, February 5, 2014 at her residence in Ashley Park, Charleston, SC. Born in Atlanta, GA, on July 1, 1919, she was the widow of Sam B. Douglas. She was retired from the DeKalb County, GA Public Defender’s office and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church of James Island. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Scott Siler of Johns Island, a niece, Libby Mitchell, of Tallahassee, FL and a cousin, Frances Orr, of Alpharetta, GA. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 2:00 at Ashley Park, 1451 Tobias Gadson Boulevard, Charleston, SC (843)571-6075.
