Naomi Kay La Salle

November 7, 1946 — November 9, 2016

Kay LaSalle, wife of George LaSalle, passed away at home on November 9, 2016 after a 2 year fight against cancer. Kay was born Nov. 7, 1946 in Michigan and moved to South Carolina as a young girl. She was just weeks shy of her 39th wedding anniversary. Kay and George raised 4 children, 1 daughter, Lisa, from George’s prior marriage, 1 daughter, Susan, whom George adopted after their marriage, and 2 sons, David Scott and Jonathan Matthew, born to them in 1981 and 1982. Kay was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Aaron LaSalle and earlier this year, her youngest son, Jonathan Matthew LaSalle. She is survived by her husband, 2 sisters (JoAnn, Mickey), her mother (Verneal), her oldest daughter Lisa LaSalle-Nobles (Mindy), her daughter Susan Reep, her oldest son Scott LaSalle (Tiffany), and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Adriana Partlow, mother to great-grands Ethan and Chiara Naomi, Jeffery Nobles, father to great-grand Paisley, Jessica Amber May, Sera Reep, Angel LaSalle, Michael LaSalle, Jonathan (Jay) LaSalle, Aubree LaSalle, David LaSalle and Bella LaSalle. She was a devoted Granny and leaves behind a lifetime of happy memories of playhouses made from cardboard boxes, shopping trips, Christmas magic and being loved a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. In keeping with her wishes, arrangements were handled by Palmetto Cremation Society and there will be no memorial service. We ask that you honor her life in the way that feels most appropriate to you.
