Robert Joseph Ellis

Robert J. Ellis, born in Riverside NJ December 26th, 1935, passed away on September 25, 2015. Robert, a long time NJ resident and former Mayor of Riverside NJ made Mt. Pleasant SC his new home eight years ago to be closer to children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry Ellis Sr. and Emma (nee Schnell) Ellis in addition to his brother, Paul Ellis and sister Marie Ellis. He is survived by Barbara (nee Williams), his beloved wife of 58 years; his loving children Robert Ellis Jr., Bradley (Angela) Ellis and Dean (Wendy) Ellis; cherished grandchildren Chandler & Christian Ellis, and Lauren & Blake Ellis. He was also a loving brother to Harry Ellis. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 950 Darrell Creek Trail in Mount Pleasant, on Saturday, October 10 2015, at 6:30 PM followed by a light reception.
