Tommie Richard Tant

Tommie R. Tant, 76, of Walterboro, SC, died Sunday, August 28, 2016. Tommie was a Veteran of the United States Army 82nd Airborne 504 Battlegroup. He was also a current member of the Masons and the VFW. Mr. Tant resided at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro, SC. He was a loving and devoted father who was always there for his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Belinda Heath, Theresa Pender, Tommie “Ricky” Tant Jr., Jerri Tant, and Terri McLauchlin; 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild with another on the way. He also leaves his brother, Leonard Tant, and 2 sisters, Shirley Livingston and Kathy Brooks. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Doctors Creek Baptist Church in Walterboro with inurnment immediately following the service in the church cemetery.
