Albert Francis Peloquin, 80, died peacefully the morning of September 3, 2013 at Hospice of Charleston, Wando Park Blvd, Mount Pleasant. Al was born January 7, 1933 in Harrisburg, PA the son of Albert John Peloquin and Minna Jane Peppler Peloquin. He was a Navy veteran, retired building contractor, life member of both the local and state bowling associations as well as a member of the Charleston Hall of Fame and he was an avid sportsman enjoying golf, hunting and fishing. He was predeceased in death by his parents and sister, Jessie Bernados. Surviving are his children: Cheryl Barrickman (Rick), Albert (Bertie), Jr., Karen Miller and Chris Peloquin (Ann); 9 grandchildren (Melissa, Taylor, Mya, Heather, Ryan, Falcon, Kyle, Ethan and Lily) and three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Ted Bernados (Prima) and many nieces, nephews. Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 2501 Bees Ferry Road.
