Alberta Marie Shields

Alberta Marie (Stueber) Shields, age 96, passed away on July 24, 2023 in Charleston, SC.  

She was born and raised in New Jersey but also spent many years residing in California, Florida and South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Shields and her infant son, Eric Shields. She leaves behind her beloved family: her two sons, William A. Shields and his wife Cindy (Charleston, SC), James P. Shields and his wife Janice (Tinton Falls, NJ) and one daughter, Joan M. Garofalo Angarola and her husband Anthony (Oceanport, NJ) and 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many loving friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on

11am, Monday, August 7th, 2023

at

St. Joseph's Catholic Church

Charleston, SC 29407

 The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to St. Judes Hospital.
