Alicia Gean Baker, 40, of Camden, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14th, 2025, after a courageous battle with Stage 4 breast cancer and leptomeningeal disease (LMD). Throughout her journey, Alicia was a light to so many. Her faith, kindness, and resilience inspired everyone around her. Even in her most challenging moments, her light never dimmed-her story became her testimony and a blessing to countless people.

Alicia was born on August 24th, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Rickey Baker and the late Norma Gean Baker. She attended Meadowcreek High School in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and later continued her education at her beloved Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, where she majored in Business Administration.

Alicia was a successful real-estate agent, designer, and entrepreneur whose cancer journey inspired her to create InspiredbyLife Co., a printing and graphic design business rooted in hope and encouragement. Whether selling homes, delivering Amazon packages, or creating custom designs, Alicia was known for her radiant smile and uplifting spirit. She made everyone she encountered feel seen, valued, and appreciated.

A devoted daughter, loving sister, loyal friend, and cherished fiancée, Alicia embraced life fully. She found joy in traveling, designing, and writing. Through every challenge, Alicia fought with grace, never losing her faith or her beautiful smile.

Alicia is survived by her father, Rickey Baker; her sister, Arica McKinnon (née Baker); her brother-in-law, Steven McKinnon; her beloved niece and nephew, Kingston and Aria McKinnon; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by her dearest friends, Charlie Clea, Brandi Callaway, and Nina Starks. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Gean Lee.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in loving memory of Alicia on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Word of God Church & Ministries International, 119 Diamond Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. A repast will follow the service in the Word of God banquet hall.
