Alvaleane W. Binnarr of Summerville, SC entered into eternal rest on September 21, 2025 while in hospice care.
Alvaleane was born to Earlene L and Opal Dunsmore White of Fastrell, Texas on August 11, 1935. She had 4 half brothers, James, Jesse, Ray, and Garry Wallace and a half sister, Glendia W. Griffin. Her childhood was spent in Alto, Tx where she attended and graduated high school.
After high school, Alvaleane enlisted in the US Army where she worked as a medical specialist at Ft. Bragg. It was there she met her love of 59 years, Dutch L. Binnarr. The two were married on December 4, 1955 and resided in North Charleston and Summerville, SC where she worked as a cosmetologist and owned Cheri of Summerville. She was a member of the Summerville Lions Club and the Hanahan Lodge Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, camping, and traveling in the mountains. Over the years she loved and was accompanied on her adventures by her many dachshund furbabies.
Alvaleane leaves behind her daughter, Diana B. Freeman (Harry L. Freeman) of Summerville, SC; granddaughter, Jamie T. O'Rourke (Leon J. O'Rourke) of Moncks Corner, SC; grandson, Joseph B. Tilman of Moncks Corner, SC; great-granddaughters, Nichole Tilman, Isabella O'Rourke, Rayna Tilman, Rosalie Tilman, and Codi O'Rourke of Moncks Corner, SC; brother, Ray Wallace (Jeri Adams Wallace) of Trinity, Tx; sister, Glendia W. Griffn (David Griffin) of Palestine, Tx; and man nieces and nephews, along with a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earlene L. White and Opal M. Wallace; her husband Dutch L. Binnarr; and her half brothers, James, Jesse, and Garry Wallace.
