Brenda Carolyn McDonald

The McDonald family of Harleyville SC is sad to announce the passing of our beloved Brenda McDonald on Monday, January 15, 2024 after a prolonged illness. Brenda will be deeply missed and not forgotten. Brenda was 76 years old, born June 22, 1947 in Nashville , TN. She is survived by her husband James E. McDonald, her sons Alan and Mark McDonald, and her daughter Melinda Henderson, with 5 grandchildren. She was a devout Christian, an active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 128, and also an active member with the Dorchester County Republican Party. There will be a Celebration of Life service to remember Brenda. It will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 beginning at 5pm at the American Legion Post 128 building located at 138 John St in Harleyville, SC.

It is also Brenda's wish that instead of flowers, please make a donation in Brenda McDonald's name to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. We hope that you can attend and help celebrate and remember the life of Brenda McDonald.
