In Loving Memory of Brian John Featherston

December 1, 1978 - May 21, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Brian John Featherston who left us on May 21, 2025 at the age of 46. A devoted partner, loyal friend, and passionate car enthusiast, He was my life partner, my best friend, and someone whose love for cars-especially classic Corvettes-was a natural part of who he was.

Born and raised outside of Detroit, MI, Brian came from a family with deep roots in the auto industry. His dad worked at the GM Milford Proving Grounds for 50 plus years, and that legacy left a lasting mark. Brian was a passionate car enthusiast and followed every car auction, listing, and article. His extensive knowledge of cars, new and old, was quite impressive and admirable.  

But Brian's legacy goes far beyond his love of cars. To those who knew him, Brian was observant, honest and smart with an amazing sense of humor that created many memories with his close friends and family.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Wanda Featherston; his brother, Dave Featherston, and sister in-law Laura; his nieces, Rebecca Featherston and Amanda (Featherston) Williamson; and me, Jackie Reddy, his life partner of 19 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Fredrick Featherston, whose love of cars helped shape the passion Brian carried throughout his life.

We are eternally grateful for our dear friends who stood by Brian during his battle with cancer. Their love, kindness and unwavering support gave him comfort until the very end. A special thank you to Molly Nasser for the cards, drawings and handmade gifts which Brian deeply loved and appreciated.

Brian's memory will love on in the stories we share and the quiet moments when we feel his presence. We will miss his laugh, his wisdom and the way he made life feel a little lighter. In honoring Brian, we will strive to live with the same grace, generosity and the love he showed every day.
