Carolyn Sue "Beenie" McBane

Carolyn “Beenie” Sue McBane passed away at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC at 2:49 pm on Wednesday, August 25th, at the age of 72. Carolyn is pre-deceased by her mother, Inez G McBane, her father Marion McBane , her brother M Graham McBane and her longtime very dear friend Rosemary Mocyunas. She is survived by her sister Jeanne Ann McBane of Carolina Beach, NC, 4 nephews, 2 nieces, an aunt and several cousins.

Carolyn is lovingly remembered by her close friends and neighbors in Charleston and by her many online friends within the Gastroparesis Community.

Carolyn was born in Greensboro, NC on July 23, 1949. She graduated from North Springs High School in Georgia, in 1967. She studied Hematology at Monroe Community College and studied Pre-Med at Georgia Southern University. She worked as a Certified Lab Technician at Northside Hospital in Atlanta; and she was a retired Collections Supervisor, at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. She also completed a course in Property Management for the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors.
Carolyn had a loving spirit and was always willing to reach out and help an online friend, as well as a close neighbor, or anyone she knew who had a need. She also loved taking care of her many plants and most importantly, she loved her RosieKitty.

A Memorial Service will be planned by her close friends and held at a future date.
