Clarence Harvey “Peebo” Brazell, Sr entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 24, 2026.

He was born in Richland County on Sept 1, 1950 to his parents Lonnie and Alice (Drawdy) Brazell.

He is preceded in death by both parents, twelve of his thirteen siblings, and his second wife Patricia (Brock) Brazell. 

Surviving are one brother Douglas Brazell, his sons Clarence Harvey “Bubba” Brazell, Jr (Tina) and Michael Paul Brazell (Sherri), three grandchildren Christina Hall (Krisstopher), Elizabeth Brazell, Michael W Brazell, four great grandchildren Austin, Zoey, Liam and Allison and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Throughout life, Peebo had careers in floor sanding as well as painting. During his time off, he loved to coach baseball when his sons were young and played the game. Once retired, he spent his time with his family and friends, but mostly his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Those that knew him well, knew he never met a stranger and would sit for hours talking to anyone, especially if they were outside. 

There will be a memorial service on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 2pm to be held at Westside Holiness Church located at 527 Augusta St, West Columbia, SC 29169 where he was a longtime member. 

In memory of Peebo, the family welcomes donations to either The American Heart Association or Westside Holiness Church in lieu of flowers.
