In Loving Memory of Cleveland Warren Wiggins

Cleveland Warren Wiggins, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born on February 24, 1945, to the late Roscoe "Shorty" Wiggins and Dilish Uzee Wiggins. 

Cleveland came from a long line of musicians, and music was the heartbeat of his life. From the time he was a little boy, he always had a guitar in his hands. As a teenager, he carried it everywhere he went-even to school. He grew to become a well-known guitarist throughout the Charleston area, sharing his talent and love of music with countless people over the years. To those who knew him, his guitar was simply a part of who he was.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn Wiggins and Pamela Cervantes; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his twin brother, Stephen M. Wiggins. He had several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe "Shorty" Wiggins and Dilish Uzee Wiggins; his sisters, Barbara B. Doble and Emma Lee Heitman; and his brothers, Charles M. Wiggins and William G. Wiggins.
