Cindy was born on 19 February 1955. She is Survived by her children Dana (Kyle) and Phillip, grandson David Lewis, sisters Diane Hogue, Beverly Jean Christ (Van), Eddie Kornahrens (Laurie), sister-in-law Diane Cushing (Gregory) and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her husband David Dawson, parents George and Beverly Kornahrens, sister Tammy Tanner, brother in law Andrew Hogue, and nieces Megan Christ and Chelsea Christ.
