In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that Cynthia (Sindy) L. Wafford 59 of Summerville, SC peacefully joined our Lord and Savior from the comfort of home on June 28, 2026.

Sindy lived a full life of love, laughter, and compassion. She will be remembered for her career achievements with TDC as a Corrections Officer and as a Lone Star College Police Department Security Officer.

Sindy embraced those in need, gave herself to family and friends. She was strong in her faith and courageous in her fight for life. She was a force to be reckoned with and a beacon of light in all the lives she touched. Sindy loved sports, had a passion for art, enjoyed music and loved her French Bulldog MiMi Kadoo.

Sindy was preceded in death by her parents Horace and Donna L. Joyner.  She is survived by her wife Courtney Wafford, her sons Benjamin Wayne Stier, (Susan), and Charles Scot Stier (Maria Nolazco),  her granddaughter Rozzy Stier who was her pride and joy. Her sisters Crystle Roth (Robert Roth), Carol Joyner-Peitchinsky (Desiree Peitchinsky), stepfather Sonny McNatt, godson Horace Joyner Berry, In-laws Catherine Wafford, Ashley Baker, Thomas Wafford, Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

You deserve the Glory of God now, free from pain and whole in body. You will live on in the hearts and memory of all. 

I will love you forever and ever. Rest in Peace my love.
