Deborah Beck Ham

In loving memory of Deborah Beck Dukes Ham, we are saddened to announce her passing on December 13, 2023, at the age of 69 from cancer.

A kind woman of simple pleasures, her quiet strength and dry wit were hallmarks of her character. A wonderful and devoted mother and wife, she enjoyed the outdoors and listening to southern rock and folk music. She was a lover of all wildlife, especially hummingbirds and raccoons.

Deborah was born on June 12, 1954, and is survived by her husband Grady Stokes Ham; daughter Rebecca (Charles) Reyes and granddaughter Hazel Reyes of Charlotte, NC; Son Alexander (Summer) Ham of Summerville, SC.

She is preceded in death and joined her parents Charles G Dukes (1983) and Phrontis N Beck Dukes (2013) and brother Franklin O Dukes (2021).

Deborah retired from the Department of Veteran's affairs as a Medical Technologist and Clinical Research Coordinator.
