Devin Boyd Sadler

Devin Boyd Sadler of Mt Pleasant, lost his battle with CNS Lymphoma and peacefully passed at home on December 21st 2023.

Devin was born at the Naval Hospital in Key West, FL on March 12th 1966. He lived several years on Sullivans Island as a child and spent the rest of his life in Mt Pleasant. He will be remembered for his love and knowledge of the ocean and local creeks and waterways, working on long line boats, crabbing, oystering and clam farming.

Devin's family and friends are heartbroken he has left us far too soon. We will all miss his quick wit and sense of humor, he always kept us laughing and will be desperately missed.

Devin leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Jocelyn Jael Colunga Sadler Son Daniel Sadler of Mt Pleasant; Daughter Celia Sadler (AJ Ackerman) of Yonges Island; His most beloved grandchildren Pearle and Jack Ackerman of Yonges Island; Parents David and Sammy Sadler of Mt Pleasant; Father in law Daniel Colunga of Mt Pleasant; Brother Doug Sadler (Sheryl) of Mt Pleasant; Sister Marilyn Metcalf (John) of James Island; Brother Dave Sadler (Pat) of Awendaw; Sister in law Donna Kamalbake (Hossien) of Whispering Pines, NC; Sister in law April Colunga of North Charleston; Sister in law Terry Sottile (John) of Goose Creek; And many nieces and nephews.

Internment of the ashes will be held at a later date.
