Lennis Polson, 91 of Chesterfield, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023.
Born on January 10, 1932 in Chesterfield, South Carolina was a Son of the late Lucille Jordan and Walker Polson.
He was a painting contractor with Polson Brother's Painting for 50 years. He was a perfectionist with everything he did. He took great pride in his work. He was one of the hardest working men and most loved and respected among his community, family and friends. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, tinkering with cars, riding his tractor, listening to country music, and being outside. He enjoyed making others laugh and smile. Time spent with his family and friends was his most treasured time.
Lennis is preceded in death by his sister: Betty Ray Graves, brothers Otis L. Polson, and Walker L. Polson.
Lennis is survived by his wife of 70 years, Louise C. Polson, and their daughters Angelia P. Crombie (John) and Aleshia P. Parrish (David) and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date closer to his birth home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lennis Polson to the Lowcountry Senior Center, 865 Riverland Dr., Charleston, S.C. 29464 or the Alzheimers Association.
