Ernest (Ernie) Samuel Crum entered eternal rest on March 7, 2026 at Berkeley Roper St Francis Hospital following a brief battle with cancer.

Ernie was born September 29, 1951 in Charleston SC son of Ernest O Crum and Alline S Wheaton, both deceased.

He is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Green of Elloree SC and Brenda Nelson of Medford OR, three nephews, two nieces and many great nephews and nieces.

Ernie loved the beach, classic cars, and caring for the many wild birds and animals that were attracted to his well manicured yard.

Internment will be at Carolina Memorial Gardens, Masoleum Building #6.

As per Ernie’s request no funeral or memorial service will be held.
