Ethel Valerie Hager

February 4, 1942 — April 20, 2021

Ethel “Adele” Valerie Hager age 79, passed away at MUSC in Charleston, SC on April 20, 2021.
Adele was born in New York City to James and Mari Sigros.
Adele studied at the Traphagen School of Fashion on Broadway, New York City. She worked professionally as a fashion illustrator and free lanced as a fashion designer. Continuing her education, she received her Associates degree at the University of Hawaii and her Bachelors degree in Architectectral studies from Connecticut College. She later obtained her Masters degree in Orginazational Management from Connecticut State University.
Adele was a talented artist and some of her paintings can be seen hanging in the lobby at the Ansonborough House 71 Society Street. Adele is survived by two sisters; Mari Kisilywicz of Hamstead, NC and Mady Gibbs of Salem, CT. Two sons, Christian Hager ( Michelle) granddaughter Ava of Brownsville, TX , Andrew Hager ( Marlene) granddaughters Helana and Cailyn of the Isle of Palms, SC.
