Everett "Lee" Stover Jr

Everett "Lee" Stover, Jr. (68), born on December 18, 1956 in Strasburg Virginia was a cherished individual known for his kind, loving, caring personality and his sense of humor. His life was tragically taken from us unexpectedly due to a homicide. Lee lived a free-spirited life filled with passion and always helping others.

Lee is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Edward) Gildersleeve of Florida as well as a grandson Jordynn and a great-grandson Emmett of Maryland. His mother, Dorothy Sites of Maryland, brother Troy (Julie) Sites of West Virginia as well as his niece Cassidy and nephews Joseph, William, Jonathan and Aiden.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Candace L. Stover; stepfather, George A. Sites; sister, Denise D. Sisler and father, Everett L. Stover, Sr.

If there was one thing Lee was, that was determined!! No matter what the challenge or request, he gave his all to ensure he exceeded the expectations of others. Circumstances didn't matter with Lee, you'd always leave with a shared story of something funny or crazy he did while you were in his company.

He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family, community family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He truly brought the life to the party. If a jukebox was around and he had a quarter it was time to kickback, relax and just have a good time with good company (He never knew a stranger).

Lee's caring spirit and generous heart could be felt by anyone he met. He was an avid lover of the Gamecocks and especially of Charleston SC. He spent much of his time exploring and talking about the places he had been to as well as the adventures he had been on. He loved spending time by Charleston's historical pier and ocean waters. His love for the outdoors brought out the happy free spirit that defined him. Lee was a very special person and will be greatly missed!
