Gesille Bernice Hamilton

Gesille Bernice Hamilton slipped peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, 11/11/2024. She was born on Jan 02, 1958, to the late Willie Jr Joyner and Rosita C. Joyner in Charleston, SC. 

She was preceded in death by her brother Reginald Willie Joyner and is survived by her sister Michelle Washington. She, also, leaves behind two beloved sons Joshua Hamilton and Samuel Hamilton; three nephews Damon Norris, Reginald Joyner II and Reginald Joyner III and a host of cousins.

Gesille graduated from Burke Highschool in 1975. She then followed then followed her passion and pursued a career in healthcare, as she loved caring for and helping the sick and elderly. 

Gesille was kind hearted , loving and was always willing to help someone in need. As time went on, she met Leroy Hamilton through a close friend and later married. From this union came Joshua and Samuel Hamilton.

Gesille later relocated to Woodbridge, VA , where she joined Harvest Life Church and was an active member for many years, as she The Lord with all her heart.

As time went on, she relocated back to Charleston, SC, where she joined and became a Faithful Member of Anointed Temple Outreach Ministries as a devoted member until she became very ill and could no longer attend. 

After she became ill, she went under the care of Deanna Miller Berry and her mother Mrs. Perry. The two women loved and cared for Gesille, as if she were their very own, until she went to be withe The Lord. The family will forever be grateful for sending these loving people into her life.
