Glenn Wilkerson, Goose Creek, SC, loving husband of Betty G. Wilkerson, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, in Hospice. The family will receive friends Friday, September 28, 2018, at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC, at 11:00 am. Born December 7, 1942 in Meridian, Mississippi, he served Honorably in the Navy (retired), Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines.
Glenn was happiest spending time with grandchildren, studying the Bible, watching football, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Wilkerson; son, Mark Anthony Wilkerson; brother, James Wilkerson; grandson, Eugene ‘Philip’ Jones. He is survived by brothers, Charlie Wilkerson of New Orleans, LA; Johnny Ray Wilkerson of Quitman, MS; Terry Wilkerson of Durango, CO; sister, Betty Wilkerson Goodson of Meridian, MS; 4 step-children; Ernest Williams, Johnnie Taylor, Edward Phillips, Penny Phillips; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
