Gwendolyn “Gwen” Enlow Gantt, 73, of Windsor, South Carolina, entered into Heaven on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, in 1953 to the late Mildred and Lee Vance Enlow, Gwen lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family.
Gwen was a woman of strength, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, laughter, and unconditional love that will live on through everyone who knew her.
Gwen’s greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and there was nothing she loved more than caring for the children who filled her home and heart. She had a special way of making each one feel loved and protected.
When she wasn’t surrounded by family, Gwen could often be found tending to her yard, enjoying the outdoors, or listening to her favorite music. She found peace in life’s simple pleasures and took pride in creating a beautiful place for those she loved.
Those who knew Gwen knew she was one of the toughest people you'd ever meet. She was fearless, determined, and never one to back down from a challenge. Yet beneath that tough exterior was a heart overflowing with love and compassion. Her family always came first, and she would do anything to protect and care for them.
She is survived by her siblings, Leon (Cindy) Enlow, Eleanor Ford, Larry Enlow (Betty), Richard Enlow, Laney Enlow, Harriett Berzins (John), Janice Padowicz (Robert), Alice Clegg (Bernie), and Laura Decker (Micheal).
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Gregory Michael Krueger (Dana), Angela Gantt Smith, Chris (Amber) Krueger, Douglas Alan Gantt (Angie), Carlie (Scott) Brant, and Duane Gantt (Allison).
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Gregory Krueger, Kaitlyn Rushton (Adam), Madison Miller (Trace), Cammy Diaz, Dylan (Alayna) Krueger, Ethan Krueger, Elton Krueger, Joseph Ennis, Andrew (Nicole) Haynes, Hunter Brant, Hayley Garvin, Miranda (Connor) Powell, Brianna (Josh) Gantt, Douglas (Ashley) Gantt, Colleen (Diego) Figueroa, and Kaden (Annalise) Lucas, along with ten grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Lee Vance Enlow. Along with her siblings Edith Joan Beckham, Juanita Duvall, Judy Knotts and her brother Dan Enlow.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, Gwen’s strength, love, and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
The Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 111 Woodruff Ct. Aiken, SC 29803 from 5:30 – 8:30.
