Harold “Micky” Hoyt Mixon Jr. born on 17 Nov 1960 to Harold H Mixon Sr. and Alberta K Alluisi, died 17 May 2021 at his home in Hanahan, SC at the age of 60 after a long battle with cancer.
He is survived by his daughter Summer Mixon (Jon) of Missoula, MT; step dad, Ed Towler of Hanahan, SC; one brother Thomas Mixon of Moncks Corner, SC; three sisters, Dora Bounds of Summerville, SC; Diana Adams (Mike) of Hanahan, SC; Leann Mixon of Moncks Corner, SC; nephew Buck Bounds (Christina) of Ravenel, SC; Katie Mixon (DJ) of Moncks Corner, SC. Grandsons Gracyn, Lincoln, and Kashton of Missoula, MT; and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and niece Tara L Adams.
Micky had such a loving heart and loved his family. He had so many talents and hobbies. He loved trucks and anything mechanical. He could restore almost anything and was always willing to help his friends and family. He loved the outdoors, rock n roll music, children, creating art, rebuilding engines, wood working. He overcome obstacles and loved life. He loved each and everyone of us and his close friends and he made it known to us. We will miss you dearly.
Micky’s wishes were to be cremated, the family will hold a private memorial at a later date and ashes will be scattered privately. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations. If you feel compelled, you can make donation to Hospice of Charleston.
