Jack Gene Wilson Sr, age 79, passed away on February 22, 2024.

Jack was born in Commerce, Georgia to Howard George Wilson and Katie Mae Wilson (Waldroup).

He was preceded in death by his son Jack Gene Wilson, Jr, his mother, Katie Mae Wilson and father, Howard Wilson.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabathia "Tab" Hagan (Wilson), daughter Katie Mae Wright (Wilson), and grandchildren Richard, Robby, and Connor, as well as Angel, Terri, and Layla. His is also survived by his sisters, Lou Waldroup McManus, and Sandria Perry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Scarlett Reeves, with whom he shared a special bond.

Like his son, Jack was known for his love of fishing, and being on the water.

Jack will be sorely missed, especially by the family he loved so much.

A celebration of Jack's life will take place at a later date.
