James Ephraim Burleson

James E Burleson of Orangeburg SC went to his heavenly home July 12th after a long battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late George and Barbara Burleson. Survived is his loving wife Janet Felkel Burleson and two amazing sons Jesse Burleson (Brittney) of Barnwell SC, Justin Burleson of Neeses, SC. He was blessed with two grandchildren Riley and Hunter. Two brothers, Lynn (Phala) Burleson of Orangeburg, Kevin (Sheila) of Simpsonville SC and a sister Pam (Andy) Fowler of Union SC.

James nicknames was Jimmy, Jimbo, or Cuz. His passion was his job as a truck driver that he had for many years. He will be remembered for being a loving and kind man. He was a member of 2 Mile Baptist Church and loved his church family. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 Mile Baptist Church 1066 Bonnet Rd. Cope SC on July 26th at 10:30 AM.

The family wants to thank Agape Hospice for taking wonderful care during his illness.
