James Pitts Marsh

 

James Pitts Marsh, 48 of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 following an auto accident.

Born on August 6, 1975 in Fayetteville, NC was the son of Elizabeth DeLorme Marsh and David Alfred Marsh. Sr.

James graduated from St Andrews High School and attended Trident Technical College and The College of Charleston. He worked for Gildan USA Inc. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. He was also a member of the Libertarian Party. James was a friend to all. His family was very important to him. He enjoyed gathering each May at Edisto Beach with his mother's 11 first cousins and truly enjoyed "the older folks".


James is preceded in death by his brother David A Marsh, Jr. 

James is survived by Jennifer Hiers Marsh (Wife), Madison Grace Hiers (Step Daughter), Elizabeth DeLorme Marsh (Mother), David A Marsh, Sr. (Father), Eliza D. Marsh (Niece), Logan Marsh-Curtis (Nephew), aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends.

 

The family will receive friends on

Saturday, November 4, 2023

 at the

Lutheran Church of the Redeemer,

714 Riverdale Dr., Charleston, SC 29407

at 10:00 am.

 A Celebration of his life will follow at 11:00 am.
