Janeene Winslow (Garnes) age 70, passed away on May 9, 2026, in North Charleston, SC

Janeene was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Fernando Garnes; her brother, Jon Garnes; and her daughter, Jennie Ketchum.

She is survived by her children, Mindy Branham (Stacy) of South Carolina, Dennis Ketchum J.R. (Brandy) of West Virginia, and Paul Ketchum of Arizona; her beloved grandchildren, Destiny Ketchum, Isaiah Davis, Dylan Ketchum, Colt Branham, Elyse Ketchum, and Vincent Ketchum; her brothers, Ted, Doug, and Chris Garnes; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and so many friends that adored her.

Janeene loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was known for being wild, funny, and unapologetically herself. She had a way of making people laugh and brought energy wherever she went. She especially loved spending time at Folly Beach, a place that brought her peace and happiness.

Per her wishes, no wake or funeral services will be held, and she will be cremated. 

Her family will carry her memory forward through the laughter, stories, and love she leaves behind. In her words "Go have a laugh and a shot in my memory and call it a day".
