Jeanne Cramer

Jeanne M. Cramer of the Elms, North Charleston, SC died on April 26,2022. Jeanne was born in the Bronx, NY on November 2,1923 the daughter of Joseph C. Faltermeier and Marguerite Geary Faltermeier.  Her family lived in the Bronx and  Boston, MA before settling in Rockville Center Long Island. Jeanne graduated from New York University in 1943 and worked in New York City. She married her high school sweetheart Johm Ambrose (Brud) Cramer on April 14, 1945.  They were married for 65 years prior to Brud's passing in 2010. They raised six daughters on Long Island and in 1985 they moved to Wilmington, NC finally settling in North Charleston in 2002. Their home was the hub for many visits from   family members and friends.

Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Brud, her parents and her stepmother Gertrude Melody Faltermeier as well as her brothers Jack and Joe. She is survived by her six daughters Christine (Joe) Hoffman, Dianne Masten, Marguerite (Stan)Tennant, Marie (Larry)Oleksiak, Jeanne (David)Lucey, and Patricia Cramer as well as 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Burial will be at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 510 St. James Ave. Goose Creek SC 29445
