Jo Carolyn Hendrix

Jo Carolyn (Hearnsberger) Hendrix, 76, of Cayce, SC, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026.

Born on March 10, 1950, Jo was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud nana, and cherished friend to many. She was known for the love she gave to her family and the kindness she shared with those around her throughout her life.

Jo was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Doyle Hearnsberger, and her mother, Ocie “Jackie” Callaway Hearnsberger.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Hendrix; her son, David Hendrix; daughter-in-law, Jessica Hendrix; and beloved granddaughter, Wren Hendrix. She is also survived by her brother, Johnny “Mickey” Garrett, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Graveside services will be held on June 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery.

Jo’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
