Joan Marie Hubbard

 Joan was born in York, PA on November 14, 1943. She graduated from William Penn, York, PA, in 1961 and she graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society. She obtained her certification as a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) in 1981. She worked at Caterpillar Inc. as an Administrative Assistant and finished her over 30 year career, as a parts analyst, in Caterpillars Parts Department. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cross stitch, crossword puzzles, her grandchildren and spending time with her husband, her dogs and going to the beach. She was a caring, generous person and is sorely missed by her family.

 She is survived by husband, Edward F. Hubbard, Jr., of Summerville, SC; son, Edward Antonio Hubbard, of Sumter, SC; daughter, Kimberly Hubbard Scott, of Canton, GA; and Grandsons, Conor Blake Hubbard, of Canton, GA, Edward Hubbard, Louie Hubbard and George Hubbard, of Sumter, SC and soon to be granddaughter, Adelaide Grace Kensington Marie Brown. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Christine Phipps; and three nieces and nephew, Carol Walker, of Ennis Texas, Trent and Taylor Phipps, of Florida.
