Joe Robert Johnson

Joe Robert Johnson of Charleston, SC passed away on August 2, 2026 at the age of 70 .

His life was marked by both challenges and choices that affected those around him. 

He is survived by his brothers Jan and Jerry Johnson. Along with his daughters Sara Hollister, Jen Johnson-Crosby, Karen Johnson along with his son Andrew Johnson.

Preceded in death are his parents Levi and Shirley Johnson, 2 sisters Lynn Murphy and Shelley Snowman, 3 brothers, Jay, Jimmy and Johnny Johnson. Along with his son Justin Johnson.

Those who knew him are encouraged to celebrate in whatever way feels appropriate. Some may raise a glass. May those grieving find peace, healing, and the strength to move forward.
